The investigation into the fatal Nedumbassery car accident that claimed three young lives has been assigned to Aluva DySP Baiju Paulose. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala announced this in the Assembly, also stating that IGP R. Nishanthini will address victims' families' concerns. The government is prepared to appoint a special prosecutor to ensure maximum punishment for the accused. Meanwhile, three Ernakulam bars had their licenses suspended for serving liquor to underage individuals involved in the case. The four accused have been sent to police custody for evidence collection and scene reconstruction.
