Inditex SA owner Amancio Ortega has acquired the 51-story One North Wacker tower in Chicago for approximately $550 million. This landmark deal marks one of the largest US office transactions this year and expands Ortega's significant real estate holdings in the city. The building's offices are currently leased to prominent companies like PwC and UBS Group AG. Ortega, the world's 15th richest person, continues to grow his extensive global portfolio of prime real estate assets through his family office, Pontegadea.
