Panduranga Varaprasada Rao, as its candidate for the upcoming Krishna–Guntur Teachers’ Legislative Council constituency election. This decision was made during a meeting in Vijayawada, where committee members unanimously supported Mr. Varaprasada Rao. His nearly four decades of dedication to the teachers' movement and contributions to education were cited as key reasons for his selection. The APTF leaders urged teachers and faculty to ensure his victory, highlighting his potential to strongly represent their interests.
