Delhi is preparing to transform its Yamuna riverfront, drawing inspiration from Ahmedabad's Sabarmati Riverfront. The project aims to develop the riverbanks from Palla to Kalindi Kunj, incorporating features like cycle tracks, walkways, and recreational spaces. This initiative, planned in two phases, seeks to create cleaner, greener public areas for activities such as morning walks and cycling. The government is also focusing on increasing sewage treatment capacity to combat pollution in the Yamuna.

दिल्ली अपने यमुना रिवरफ्रंट को बदलने की तैयारी कर रहा है, अहमदाबाद के साबरमती रिवरफ्रंट से प्रेरणा लेते हुए। इस प्रोजेक्ट का लक्ष्य पल्ला से कालिंदी कुंज तक नदी के किनारों को विकसित करना है, जिसमें साइकिल ट्रैक, पैदल रास्ते और मनोरंजन के स्थान शामिल होंगे। यह पहल, जिसे दो चरणों में योजनाबद्ध किया गया है, सुबह की सैर और साइकिल चलाने जैसी गतिविधियों के लिए साफ, हरे-भरे सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र बनाने का प्रयास करती है। सरकार यमुना में प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए सीवेज उपचार क्षमता बढ़ाने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है।
