BJP Leader Clashes With Police Over SP Vehicles At UP Poll Booth

A heated argument erupted at a polling station in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, during the Allahabad-Jhansi graduate constituency elections. BJP District President Dharamraj Maurya confronted a police sub-inspector, accusing him of acting as an agent for the SP. Maurya alleged that SP vehicles, including one with an MLC candidate's poster, were allowed inside the polling premises while BJP workers were restricted. He claimed to have informed the SP about the alleged bias and demanded action. The SP's agent, Jitendra Saroj, countered by accusing Maurya of using casteist slurs.

इलाहाबाद-झांसी स्नातक सीट के चुनाव के दौरान कौशांबी, उत्तर प्रदेश के एक मतदान केंद्र पर तीखी बहस हुई। भाजपा जिला अध्यक्ष धर्मराज मौर्य ने एक पुलिस उप-निरीक्षक का सामना किया, उन पर सपा के एजेंट के तौर पर काम करने का आरोप लगाया। मौर्य ने आरोप लगाया कि एमएलसी उम्मीदवार के पोस्टर वाली एक गाड़ी सहित सपा के वाहनों को मतदान परिसर के अंदर जाने दिया गया, जबकि भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं को रोका गया। उन्होंने कथित पक्षपात के बारे में एसपी को सूचित करने और कार्रवाई की मांग करने का दावा किया। एसपी के एजेंट जितेंद्र सरोज ने मौर्य पर जातिवादी टिप्पणी करने का आरोप लगाकर पलटवार किया।
