The Hindu - International · world
Akasa Air has extended its flight suspension to Jeddah until November 18 and to Riyadh until November 30 due to the ongoing security situation in Saudi Arabia. This follows similar suspensions by Air India and Air India Express until November 14. The disruptions are linked to recent attacks on civilian infrastructure, including airports and oil facilities, in Saudi Arabia. An Indian national was killed and two injured in a Dammam airport attack on October 21. The Indian Embassy advises nationals to remain vigilant and follow local authorities' instructions.
