Police in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district seized five trucks carrying approximately 88 metric tonnes of coal on Thursday night. The seizure occurred at Bhatmurna More under Katras police station due to alleged irregularities in transportation and documentation. The trucks reportedly left an East Katras railway siding despite the authorized weighbridge being non-functional. An FIR has been registered, alleging possible connivance by local BCCL officials and manipulation of coal grade. Investigators are examining the vehicles, documents, and the dispatch process.
