Mizoram's Lawngtlai Tightens Vigil on Vehicle Smuggling to Myanmar

Mizoram's Lawngtlai district administration has ordered strict enforcement of a ban on illegal vehicle exports to Myanmar following the seizure of 10 trucks. The trucks, suspected of being smuggled, were confiscated by the Young Lai Association. A meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Donny Lalruatsanga resolved to enforce a September 23 order prohibiting the export of stolen and new Indian-made vehicles. The administration is also addressing concerns about unregulated trade and potential extortion by individuals checking vehicle movements.

मिजोरम के लॉगतलाई जिला प्रशासन ने म्यांमार को अवैध वाहन निर्यात पर सख्त प्रतिबंध लगाने का आदेश दिया है। यह आदेश 10 ट्रकों को जब्त किए जाने के बाद आया है। इन ट्रकों को यंग लाई एसोसिएशन ने जब्त किया था, जिन्हें तस्करी का संदेह था। उपायुक्त Donny Lalruatsanga की अध्यक्षता में हुई एक बैठक में 23 सितंबर के उस आदेश को सख्ती से लागू करने का फैसला किया गया, जो चोरी के और नए भारतीय निर्मित वाहनों के निर्यात पर रोक लगाता है। प्रशासन वाहनों की आवाजाही की जांच करने वाले लोगों द्वारा अनियंत्रित व्यापार और संभावित जबरन वसूली की चिंताओं को भी दूर कर रहा है।
