Bihar Cricket Association has appointed Mangal Mahrour as the new captain for the upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Goa, replacing Sakibul Gani. This leadership change comes after Bihar suffered three consecutive defeats in the tournament's opening phase. Gani, who captained the first three matches, has been made deputy. The selectors have also included three players from the under-23 setup, including promising pacer Vasudev Prasad Singh, to bolster the squad. This shake-up aims to revive the team's prospects after a disappointing start to the season.
