MCD Seals Five Properties In Demolition Drive

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi conducted 33 demolition actions and sealed five properties across the city as part of an intensified crackdown on dangerous buildings and unauthorized constructions. The civic body also issued 29 show-cause notices, bringing the total demolition actions over two days to 58. This drive follows a building collapse last week that killed seven people. The MCD is also inspecting paying guest accommodations, having identified around 2,251 facilities housing.

दिल्ली नगर निगम ने खतरनाक इमारतों और अवैध निर्माणों पर कार्रवाई तेज करते हुए शहर भर में 33 तोड़फोड़ की कार्रवाई की और पांच संपत्तियों को सील कर दिया। निगम ने 29 कारण बताओ नोटिस भी जारी किए, जिससे दो दिनों में कुल तोड़फोड़ की कार्रवाई 58 हो गई। यह अभियान पिछले हफ्ते एक इमारत ढहने की घटना के बाद आया है, जिसमें सात लोगों की मौत हो गई थी।
