Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has assured that the issue of Bandi Sikhs, who have been incarcerated for prolonged periods, will not remain unresolved indefinitely. He met with a four-member committee from the Bandi Singh Insaaf Morcha, promising that the state government will pursue all legal and constitutional avenues for an early resolution. Mann stated that legitimate steps, which previous governments failed to take, will now be prioritized.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने आश्वासन दिया है कि लंबे समय से जेल में बंद बंदी सिखों का मुद्दा अनिश्चित काल तक अनसुलझा नहीं रहेगा। उन्होंने बंदी सिंह इंसाफ मोर्चा के चार सदस्यीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल से मुलाकात की और वादा किया कि राज्य सरकार जल्द समाधान के लिए सभी कानूनी और संवैधानिक रास्ते अपनाएगी। मान ने कहा कि वैध कदम, जो पिछली सरकारों ने नहीं उठाए थे, अब प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।
