Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has called for enhanced defence and technological cooperation between India and ASEAN nations. He proposed joint research, co-production of military equipment, and improved maritime security to address regional challenges. Speaking at the ASEAN-India Defence Think Tank Forum in New Delhi, Singh emphasized mutual trust, respect for sovereignty, and open dialogue. He highlighted India's Act East policy and SAGAR vision as aligning with ASEAN-led mechanisms for a stable Indo-Pacific.
