Singularity AMC Pays Over Rs 40 Lakh To Settle Sebi Rule Violation Cases

Mumbai-based Singularity AMC has settled two cases with market regulator Sebi for alleged violations of alternative investment fund norms by paying Rs 40.5 lakh in settlement charges. The company paid Rs 9.37 lakh for failing to maintain the prescribed continuing interest in Singularity Equity Fund and Rs 31.12 lakh for disproportionate drawdowns in three schemes of Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund. Sebi has accepted the settlements, stating no enforcement action will be initiated for the covered violations.

मुंबई की सिंगुलैरिटी एएमसी ने वैकल्पिक निवेश कोष (एआईएफ) के नियमों के कथित उल्लंघन के दो मामलों को 40.5 लाख रुपये के सेटलमेंट शुल्क का भुगतान करके बाजार नियामक सेबी के साथ निपटा लिया है। कंपनी ने सिंगुलैरिटी इक्विटी फंड में निर्धारित निरंतर हित बनाए रखने में विफलता के लिए 9.37 लाख रुपये और सिंगुलैरिटी ग्रोथ ऑपर्च्युनिटीज फंड की तीन योजनाओं में असमान ड्रॉडाउन के लिए 31.12 लाख रुपये का भुगतान किया। सेबी ने इन सेटलमेंट को स्वीकार कर लिया है, यह बताते हुए कि कवर किए गए उल्लंघनों के लिए कोई प्रवर्तन कार्रवाई शुरू नहीं की जाएगी।
