Farmers under the Bharatiya Kisan Union's Tikait faction protested across western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Police detained a delegation led by BKU national general secretary Yudhvir Singh en route to Jantar Mantar. Singh stated that targeting YouTuber Dhruv Rathee would provoke a strong response from farmers. भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत गुट) के किसानों ने शनिवार को पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। वे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहे थे। दिल्ली पुलिस ने बीकेयू के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव युद्धवीर सिंह के नेतृत्व वाले एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल को जंतर-मंतर जाते समय हिरासत में ले लिया। सिंह ने कहा कि अगर YouTuber ध्रुव राठी को निशाना बनाया गया तो किसान कड़ा जवाब देंगे। उन्होंने सरकार के अर्धसैनिक बलों की तैनाती और मेट्रो सेवाओं को बंद करने जैसे कदमों को डर और असहमति को दबाने की कोशिश बताया।
