Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have demanded action from Akal Takht against Union Home Minister Amit Shah following an alleged breach of religious etiquette at Delhi's Gurdwara Bangla Sahib on October 10. The AAP delegation submitted a memorandum, calling the incident a violation of the shrine's sanctity and invoking memories of Operation Blue Star. Punjab BJP has labelled the demand as 'absurd and misleading,' accusing AAP of politicising religious sentiments. They also questioned the Akal Takht's jurisdiction and cited a clarification claiming police did not enter the main halls as alleged.
