Bengali Singer Sravanti Mazumdar Revives Unreleased 1971 Composition

Bengali vocalist Sravanti Mazumdar has released a new Puja song, Rastata Jekhane Baank Niye Gechhe Kichhu Dure, featuring a composition from 1971. The song, with lyrics by Pulak Bandyopadhyay and music by V. Balsara, was never recorded or released when it was originally created. Mazumdar, known for her Puja songs in the 1970s and association with All India Radio, has now recorded the track with a new musical arrangement.
