Chinese National Denied Bail in Smuggling Case

The Allahabad High Court has rejected the third bail plea of Chinese national Zheng Daye, arrested for illegal immigration and smuggling microchips from old mobile scrap. The case, registered in 2022 in Greater Noida, involves Zheng and his associates entering India illegally using fake visas. They established a shell company, 'HTZN Tech & Private Limited', to extract valuable silicon and PCB microchips from discarded phones and smuggle them abroad, primarily to China.
