Gurugram Police Direct Senior Officials to Conduct Regular Foot Patrols

Gurugram police officials, including Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), will now conduct periodic foot patrols in public areas with their teams. This initiative, introduced by Police Commissioner Sibash Kabiraj, aims to build confidence among residents and traders while increasing police visibility. Senior officers will lead these patrols in different zones and areas monthly or bi-monthly, with Station House Officers patrolling weekly. The measure also includes meetings with resident and trader associations to address concerns and foster direct contact.

गुरुग्राम पुलिस के उपायुक्त (DCPs) और सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त (ACPs) सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारी अब अपनी टीमों के साथ सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर नियमित फुट पेट्रोलिंग करेंगे। पुलिस आयुक्त सिबाश कबीराज द्वारा शुरू की गई इस पहल का उद्देश्य निवासियों और व्यापारियों का विश्वास बढ़ाना और पुलिस की मौजूदगी को बढ़ाना है। वरिष्ठ अधिकारी हर महीने या दो महीने में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों और इलाकों में इन पेट्रोलिंग का नेतृत्व करेंगे, जबकि स्टेशन हाउस अधिकारी साप्ताहिक गश्त करेंगे। इस उपाय में चिंताओं को दूर करने और सीधा संपर्क बनाने के लिए निवासी और व्यापारी संघों के साथ बैठकें भी शामिल हैं।
