Woman Dies, Two Injured In Sundargarh Bee Attack

A 37-year-old woman, Gitanjali Bag, died on the spot after a honeybee attack in a forest in Sundargarh district on Sunday. Her husband, Mukund, and another woman, Gurubari Naik, both aged 47, sustained grievous injuries and are undergoing treatment. The group had gone to the forest to graze cattle when they were attacked by a swarm of bees. Police have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the incident. The postmortem was conducted on Monday.

रविवार को सुंदरगढ़ जिले के एक जंगल में मधुमक्खियों के हमले में 37 वर्षीय महिला गीतांजलि बाग की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। उनके पति, 47 वर्षीय मुकुंद और एक अन्य महिला, 47 वर्षीय गुरुबारी नाइक गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए और उनका इलाज चल रहा है। यह समूह मवेशी चराने के लिए जंगल गया था जब मधुमक्खियों के झुंड ने उन पर हमला कर दिया। पुलिस ने अप्राकृतिक मौत का मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। सोमवार को पोस्टमार्टम किया गया।
