Opposition's Supreme Court March Criticised By Harish Salve

The opposition INDIA bloc has announced a march to the Supreme Court. In anticipation of this, Delhi Metro has closed entry and exit at six stations, including Rajiv Chowk. Senior lawyer Harish Salve strongly criticised the opposition's move, calling it 'utter foolishness' and accusing them of using the judiciary as a political tool. Opposition members had sought an appointment with Chief Justice of India Justice Suryakant, but he expressed inability to meet. Despite this, the opposition remains firm on its decision to march to the Supreme Court.

विपक्ष के INDIA गठबंधन ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक मार्च निकालने का ऐलान किया है। इसके मद्देनजर दिल्ली मेट्रो ने राजीव चौक समेत 6 स्टेशनों पर एंट्री और एग्जिट बंद कर दी है। वरिष्ठ वकील हरीश साल्वे ने विपक्ष के इस कदम की कड़ी आलोचना की है और इसे 'पूरी बेवकूफी' बताया है। उन्होंने विपक्ष पर न्यायपालिका को राजनीतिक हथियार के तौर पर इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया है। विपक्ष के नेताओं ने भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस सूर्यकांत से मिलने का समय मांगा था, लेकिन उन्होंने असमर्थता जताई थी। इसके बावजूद विपक्ष सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक मार्च निकालने के अपने फैसले पर कायम है।
