Congress to Contest 150 Seats in UP

Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam stated that the party will not contest fewer than 150 seats in the upcoming state assembly elections. उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस प्रभारी राजेंद्र पाल गौतम ने कहा कि पार्टी आने वाले राज्य विधानसभा चुनावों में 150 से कम सीटों पर चुनाव नहीं लड़ेगी। गठबंधन सहयोगियों के साथ सीट-बंटवारे की चर्चाएं अक्टूबर में अंतिम रूप दिए जाने की उम्मीद है। गौतम ने बताया कि कांग्रेस के पास सभी 403 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए उम्मीदवार तैयार हैं और वह गठबंधन में समान सम्मान और साझेदारी की तलाश कर रही है। पार्टी सीट-बंटवारे की व्यवस्थाओं पर सक्रिय रूप से काम कर रही है, जिसमें वरिष्ठ नेता शामिल हैं।
