National PNG Drive 3.0 Launched to Add 50 Lakh Domestic Connections by FY27

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has launched the National PNG Drive 3.0, aiming to enroll 50 lakh new domestic piped natural gas (D-PNG) connections by the end of fiscal year 2027. The initiative seeks to accelerate PNG adoption, facilitate a transition from LPG, and ensure effective utilization of existing infrastructure. It also targets converting 40 lakh existing connections into active users and registering another 50 lakh users.

पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस नियामक बोर्ड (PNGRB) ने नेशनल पीएनजी ड्राइव 3.0 लॉन्च किया है, जिसका लक्ष्य वित्तीय वर्ष 2027 के अंत तक 50 लाख नए घरेलू पाइप्ड नेचुरल गैस (D-PNG) कनेक्शन जोड़ना है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य पीएनजी को अपनाने में तेजी लाना, एलपीजी से बदलाव को सुविधाजनक बनाना और मौजूदा बुनियादी ढांचे का प्रभावी ढंग से उपयोग सुनिश्चित करना है। इसका लक्ष्य 40 लाख मौजूदा कनेक्शनों को सक्रिय उपयोगकर्ताओं में बदलना और 50 लाख और उपयोगकर्ताओं को पंजीकृत करना भी है।
