Construction of the Patna Junction Metro Station has entered a critical phase with diaphragm wall (D-wall) grabbing work underway. This station will serve as a vital interchange, connecting the city's two metro corridors and providing direct access to the Patna railway station. Officials from the Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC) stated that D-walls are essential for creating the underground station box and supporting the surrounding soil. The project also includes a subway link to the railway station for improved commuter convenience, especially for those with luggage.
