Democratic congresswoman Haley Stevens has endorsed Republican Mike Rogers for the US Senate, just two days before the midterm elections. Stevens, who lost Michigan's Democratic Senate primary, cited tensions with her party's nominee, Abdul El-Sayed, over his rhetoric concerning Israel and the war in Gaza. An advertisement linking US military aid to Israel with the cost of living, which El-Sayed's campaign did not produce but was linked to his supporters, intensified the dispute.
