Two CJP spokespersons, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, have been sent to five days of judicial custody following their arrest for protesting at Jantar Mantar and unfurling the national flag. Delhi Police has now removed Jantar Mantar from its list of protest sites. Authorities allege Ranka and Das violated their bail bond conditions and obstructed government work. They had previously been taken into custody and bonded to maintain peace for a year. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the government's actions, stating Jantar Mantar belongs to the people of India.
