Argentina Threatens Arbitration Over Falklands Oil Project

Argentina has threatened international arbitration against the UK over an offshore oil project near the Falkland Islands. President Javier Milei's office has given the UK two weeks to halt work on the Sea Lion oilfield, developed by Navitas Petroleum and Rockhopper Exploration. If work continues, Argentina will approach the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea to seek a temporary halt.
