Rafale M Jet Lands and Takes Off From INS Vikrant For First Time

A Rafale Marine fighter jet successfully completed its maiden landing and take-off from India's indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, on Thursday. This marks a significant step towards operationalizing these advanced French-made fighter jets for the Indian Navy. India had previously ordered 26 Rafale Marine jets from France in April 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2029. The trials were conducted by French pilots, following similar tests at a shore-based facility. The navy plans to operate these jets from its two aircraft carriers.

गुरुवार को राफेल मरीन फाइटर जेट ने भारत के स्वदेशी एयरक्राफ्ट कैरियर INS विक्रांत पर पहली बार सफलतापूर्वक लैंडिंग और टेक-ऑफ किया। यह फ्रांस में बने इन एडवांस्ड फाइटर जेट्स को भारतीय नौसेना के लिए ऑपरेशनल बनाने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है। भारत ने अप्रैल 2025 में फ्रांस से 26 राफेल मरीन जेट का ऑर्डर दिया था, जिनकी डिलीवरी 2029 में शुरू होगी। ये ट्रायल फ्रेंच पायलटों द्वारा किए गए थे, जो इससे पहले एक शोर-आधारित सुविधा पर भी ऐसे ही टेस्ट कर चुके हैं। नौसेना इन जेट्स को अपने दोनों एयरक्राफ्ट कैरियर से ऑपरेट करने की योजना बना रही है।
