Amethi to Boost Village Income and Employment Through Waste Management

Amethi district is launching a new initiative to strengthen its cleanliness campaign and increase village revenue through waste management centers. In the first phase, 29 gram panchayats near urban areas have been selected. E-rickshaws will collect wet and dry waste, transporting it to recycling centers for processing into compost. This compost will be sold to farmers and markets, with proceeds funding village development. The program will also create employment opportunities for rickshaw pullers and waste handlers, with plans to expand to all 682 gram panchayats in the district.

अमेठी में कचरा प्रबंधन से बढ़ेगी गांवों की आय और रोजगार

अमेठी जिले में स्वच्छता अभियान को मजबूत करने और कचरा प्रबंधन केंद्रों के जरिए गांवों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए एक नई पहल शुरू की जा रही है। पहले चरण में शहरी इलाकों के पास की 29 ग्राम पंचायतों को चुना गया है। ई-रिक्शा गीला और सूखा कचरा इकट्ठा करेंगे और इसे कंपोस्ट बनाने के लिए रीसाइक्लिंग केंद्रों तक पहुंचाएंगे। इस कंपोस्ट को किसानों और बाजारों में बेचा जाएगा, जिससे होने वाली कमाई का उपयोग गांवों के विकास के लिए किया जाएगा। इस कार्यक्रम से रिक्शा खींचने वालों और कचरा संभालने वालों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर भी पैदा होंगे, और जिले की सभी 682 ग्राम पंचायतों में इसका विस्तार करने की योजना है।
