Supreme Court Concerned Over Delhi Sexual Assault Cases

The Supreme Court has expressed deep concern over the rising number of sexual assault cases involving girls in public places across Delhi. Drawing a parallel to the 2012 Nirbhaya case, the apex court stated that these incidents indicate a systemic failure by law enforcement agencies in the national capital. The court has taken suo motu cognisance and registered a case in response to recent assaults on minors in public areas.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली में सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर लड़कियों से जुड़े यौन उत्पीड़न के बढ़ते मामलों पर गहरी चिंता जताई है। 2012 के निर्भया मामले के समान बताते हुए, शीर्ष अदालत ने कहा कि ये घटनाएं राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों की एक प्रणालीगत विफलता का संकेत देती हैं। अदालत ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रों में नाबालिगों पर हालिया हमलों के जवाब में स्वतः संज्ञान लिया है और एक मामला दर्ज किया है।
