Reserved Category Students Secure 77% of MBBS Convenor Quota Seats in AP

Students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes have secured 77.34% of the 4,581 MBBS convenor quota seats in Andhra Pradesh for the 2026-27 academic year. Data from Dr NTR University of Health Sciences shows that 3,543 seats were allotted to these reserved categories. Furthermore, 59.87% of open category seats were also taken by meritorious students from reserved groups, an increase from the previous year. The university registrar refuted claims of injustice, stating adherence to all rules and regulations in the admission process.

अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों और पिछड़ा वर्ग के छात्रों ने 2026-27 शैक्षणिक वर्ष के लिए आंध्र प्रदेश में 4,581 एमबीबीएस कन्वीनर कोटा सीटों में से 77.34% सीटें हासिल की हैं। डॉ. एनटीआर यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ हेल्थ साइंसेज के आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि इन आरक्षित श्रेणियों को 3,543 सीटें आवंटित की गई थीं। इसके अलावा, ओपन श्रेणी की 59.87% सीटें भी आरक्षित समूहों के मेधावी छात्रों द्वारा ली गईं, जो पिछले साल की तुलना में वृद्धि है। विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार ने प्रवेश प्रक्रिया में सभी नियमों और विनियमों का पालन करने का दावा करते हुए अन्याय के दावों का खंडन किया।
