IDFC First Bank reported a significant 196.5% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, reaching ₹1,045 crore. This surge was primarily driven by lower provisions and an improvement in asset quality. Net interest income grew 21% to ₹6,184 crore, with total deposits rising 25.9% to ₹3,48,583 crore. The bank also successfully mobilized ₹34,390 crore in FCNR(B) deposits, providing structural liquidity. Gross NPAs fell to ₹4,467 crore, further bolstering the bank's financial performance.
