Allahabad HC Pushes For Timely Upload Of Medico-Legal Reports

The Allahabad High Court has directed state and central government officials to ensure the timely uploading of medico-legal reports, including postmortem reports, onto the UP Police's CCTNS portal. The court emphasized the need for integration with MedLEaPR and sensitization of relevant officials. A meeting is scheduled for to discuss effective implementation measures. Officials acknowledged that while the technical mechanism is in place, police requests for reports linked to FIRs have been minimal, hindering the process.
