Former Shimla SSP Faces Second FIR For Alleged Misuse Of Funds

An FIR has been registered against former Shimla SSP Sanjeev Gandhi for alleged misuse of funds allocated for police building repairs. An audit revealed that Rs 14.07 lakh was shown as spent on Gandhi's official residence without proper sanction. The audit also found that funds meant for other police facilities were diverted to his residence. This marks the second case against Gandhi, who previously served as Shimla SSP from January 2023 to February 2026. Investigations are ongoing to gather further evidence.

पूर्व शिमला एसएसपी संजीव गांधी के खिलाफ पुलिस बिल्डिंग की मरम्मत के लिए आवंटित फंड के कथित दुरुपयोग के मामले में एक एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। ऑडिट में पता चला कि गांधी के सरकारी आवास पर बिना उचित मंजूरी के 14.07 लाख रुपये खर्च दिखाए गए थे। ऑडिट में यह भी पाया गया कि अन्य पुलिस सुविधाओं के लिए फंड उनके आवास पर भेज दिए गए थे। यह गांधी के खिलाफ दूसरा मामला है, जो जनवरी 2023 से फरवरी 2026 तक शिमला के एसएसपी रहे थे। आगे के सबूत इकट्ठा करने के लिए जांच जारी है।
