Priyanka Chopra has reportedly exited Saif Ali Khan's upcoming period drama, directed by Ritesh Batra, just before its Mumbai schedule began. The actress was set to star opposite Khan in what would have been their first on-screen collaboration. Sources suggest Chopra had prior professional commitments, leading to scheduling conflicts that could not be resolved by the film's team. While makers are now searching for a new lead actress, Chopra has nearly completed her work on another film, 'Varanasi'. This project marks Batra's first collaboration with Saif Ali Khan.
