NSE Chairman Hints at Self-Listing Possibility

National Stock Exchange Chairman Ashish Chauhan suggested that self-listing on its own platform is a possibility worth considering, despite past concerns about conflict of interest. He noted that while perception issues exist, the market ecosystem has matured. Chauhan also urged investors to focus on NSE's long-term strategy for revenue diversification over five years, rather than just initial listing gains. The exchange's debut saw a muted listing, performing better than some large IPOs but below others, indicating the market priced in its quality without much room for immediate gains.
