The death toll in northeast Delhi's Seemapuri building collapse has risen to five after two more bodies were recovered on Thursday. A pregnant woman and two children were among those killed when the four-storey structure collapsed on Wednesday afternoon. Rescue operations are ongoing, with police fearing one or two individuals may still be trapped. The building owner, Anwar, is absconding and efforts are underway to apprehend him. Preliminary inquiries suggest construction activity in an adjacent building may have triggered the collapse.

गुरुवार को दो और शवों के मिलने के बाद पूर्वोत्तर दिल्ली के सीमापुरी में बिल्डिंग ढहने से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 5 हो गई है। बुधवार दोपहर को चार मंजिला इमारत ढहने से मरने वालों में एक गर्भवती महिला और दो बच्चे भी शामिल थे। बचाव अभियान जारी है, और पुलिस को आशंका है कि एक या दो लोग अभी भी फंसे हो सकते हैं। इमारत के मालिक, अनवर, फरार हैं और उन्हें पकड़ने के प्रयास जारी हैं। प्रारंभिक जांच से पता चलता है कि बगल की इमारत में निर्माण गतिविधि ने ढहने को ट्रिगर किया हो सकता है।
