Senatobia police officer Hunter Foster has resigned days after Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch ruled his use of force justified in the June 14 shooting death of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley. The incident occurred at a Walmart following a shoplifting call, where officers pursued a vehicle. Surveillance and bodycam footage show the car reversing and moving toward officers before Foster fired into it. Kohen's mother disputes the police account, stating the car did not drive toward officers. Neither woman has been charged with shoplifting.
