The minister asserted that India's constitutional bodies should not be sacrificed for political interests and that such disruption hinders the nation's development journey.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कांग्रेस और उसके सहयोगियों पर चुनाव आयोग के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शनों के माध्यम से भारत को अस्थिर करने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि उनका उद्देश्य राजनीतिक अशांति पैदा करके और देश के युवाओं को टकराव के साधन के रूप में इस्तेमाल करके बांग्लादेश-शैली में सत्ता परिवर्तन लाना था। सिंह ने राहुल गांधी को भी निशाना बनाया, उन पर संवैधानिक संस्थानों को कमजोर करने और राजनीतिक लाभ के लिए मतदाता सूचियों के बारे में निराधार आरोप लगाने का आरोप लगाया। मंत्री ने जोर देकर कहा कि भारत के संवैधानिक निकायों को राजनीतिक हितों के लिए बलिदान नहीं किया जाना चाहिए और इस तरह की बाधा देश की विकास यात्रा में बाधा डालती है।
