A nurse has been killed and another health worker severely injured in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after being attacked while responding to an Ebola alert. The incident occurred on Saturday in Bafwasende, Tshopo province, according to the World Health Organization. This is the latest in a series of attacks that authorities say are hindering efforts to control the fastest-growing Ebola outbreak in the world. The outbreak, which began in May, has recorded over 9,800 cases and more than 4,700 deaths, making it the country's deadliest.
