Harry Kane Tops MARCA's Best Player List, Ballon d'Or Hopes Dim

Times of India - Sports · sports

Harry Kane has been ranked as MARCA's 100 best players, narrowly surpassing Lamine Yamal by 25 points. This achievement comes ahead of the Ballon d'Or ceremony, but historical data offers little comfort. Only one previous winner of this specific poll has gone on to win the Ballon d'Or. The differing voting criteria for these awards raise doubts about whether Kane's current dominance will secure him football's highest individual accolade.
