Madhya Pradesh Assembly Passes UCC Bill

Madhya Pradesh Assembly has passed the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill. This move makes Madhya Pradesh the second state in India to adopt a UCC, following Uttarakhand. The bill aims to implement a uniform law for all citizens, irrespective of religion, covering marriage, divorce, and inheritance.

मध्य प्रदेश विधानसभा ने यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड (UCC) बिल पास कर दिया है। इस कदम से मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड के बाद UCC अपनाने वाला भारत का दूसरा राज्य बन गया है। इस बिल का मकसद सभी नागरिकों के लिए शादी, तलाक और विरासत जैसे मामलों में धर्म की परवाह किए बिना एक समान कानून लागू करना है।
