Man Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Minor Girl

A 52-year-old man, Jaising Bhanudas Sathe, has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Vishrantwadi. The accused and the victim are neighbours. The assault occurred on September 12, with police informed on September 22 after the girl was brought for a medical check-up. Sathe, a contract labourer with the Pune Municipal Corporation, faces charges under the BNS and POCSO Act. The arrest follows the registration of a case after the complainant's statement was recorded.
