The advocate highlighted a 700% fare increase, stating that by the time the plea was scheduled for November 16, major festivals would have passed. The court previously termed such high fares during festivals like Kumbh as "exploitation." While the government is framing new rules, the bench stressed the need for immediate passenger relief, noting significant price disparities between airlines for the same routes.
