Shiv Sena Corporator Booked For Assault Over Facebook

Police have registered a case against Shiv Sena corporator Hemlata Singh in Palghar, Maharashtra, for allegedly assaulting a man over an objectionable Facebook comment. The victim, Dharmendra Vishwakarma, claims he was lured to a hotel and then beaten by Singh and her associates, with his gold chain and smartphone stolen. Two associates of the corporator have been arrested, while Singh and other suspects are currently on the run.

पालघर, महाराष्ट्र में शिव सेना की कॉर्पोरेटर हेमलता सिंह के खिलाफ एक आदमी को पीटने का मामला दर्ज हुआ है। आरोप है कि फेसबुक पर आपत्तिजनक कमेंट के कारण उन्होंने यह हमला करवाया। पीड़ित धर्मेंद्र विश्वकर्मा का कहना है कि उसे एक होटल में बुलाकर सिंह और उसके साथियों ने पीटा और उसकी सोने की चेन व स्मार्टफोन छीन लिया। कॉर्पोरेटर के दो साथियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है, जबकि सिंह और अन्य फरार हैं।
