Andhra Pradesh CM Mourns S. Janaki's Death

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the passing of legendary playback singer S. Janaki, calling it an irreparable loss to music. Hailing from Repalle in Bapatla district, Janaki was a recipient of four National Awards. Her final rites will be performed in Mysuru with full state honours.

आंध्र प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री वाई.एस. जगन मोहन रेड्डी ने महान पार्श्व गायिका एस. जानकी के निधन पर गहरा दुख जताया है। उन्होंने इसे संगीत जगत के लिए एक अपूरणीय क्षति बताया। बापटला जिले के रेपल्ले की रहने वाली जानकी चार राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित थीं। उनका अंतिम संस्कार मैसूरु में राजकीय सम्मान के साथ किया जाएगा।
