BIS Ghaziabad branch conducted a major raid in Sahibabad, seizing approximately 1,922 meters of garden pipes and a large quantity of packaging tape from a manufacturing unit. The operation, led by Pawan Kumar Ora and Shailendra Verma, uncovered irregularities in product manufacturing and the unauthorized use of the ISI Mark. The manufacturer was found to be using the ISI Mark without a valid BIS license, a violation of the BIS Act, 2016. The seized materials are undergoing further investigation for legal action.
