CBI Arrests SFIO Deputy Director, Advocate in Rs 1 Crore Bribe Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a deputy director-level officer of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) in Chennai, along with a Delhi-based advocate and the advocate's relative. They are accused of demanding a Rs 1 crore bribe to influence an investigation into the DHFL scam. The arrests occurred after the advocate allegedly received Rs 20 lakh as an initial payment on behalf of the SFIO officer.
