Twitch streamer Pokimane revealed her cat Mimi died after falling from a balcony. The accident occurred when cleaners opened the balcony door and left the screen door ajar. Mimi, who had been with Pokimane for eight years, then stepped onto the balcony and fell. Pokimane faced online criticism but stated she did not wish to blame anyone, calling it a heartbreaking, freak accident. She explained that building restrictions prevented her from installing usual safety measures on the balcony.

पोकिमेन ने बताया कि उनकी बिल्ली मिमी बालकनी से गिरने के बाद मर गई। यह हादसा तब हुआ जब सफाई करने वालों ने बालकनी का दरवाज़ा खोला और स्क्रीन का दरवाज़ा थोड़ा खुला छोड़ दिया। मिमी, जो पोकिमेन के साथ आठ साल से थी, फिर बालकनी पर गई और गिर गई। पोकिमेन को ऑनलाइन आलोचना का सामना करना पड़ा लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि वह किसी को दोष नहीं देना चाहतीं, इसे एक दिल दहला देने वाला, अजीब हादसा बताया। उन्होंने बताया कि बिल्डिंग के नियमों की वजह से वह बालकनी पर सामान्य सुरक्षा उपाय नहीं लगा सकती थीं।
