The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is set to overhaul its training and operational strategy along the China border. Director-General Shatrujeet Kapur highlighted the exemplary performance of newly raised Shaurya Commandos during recent face-offs with Chinese troops in Arunachal Pradesh. Kapur emphasized the need to invest in drone and counter-drone technology, suggesting traditional methods may be insufficient against China's modernized infrastructure and weaponry. The ITBP, formed after the 1962 Indo-China war, is responsible for guarding the border up to 18,900 feet.
