Correct Way To Offer Water To Ancestors

Pitru Paksha begins and ends. During this period, people perform Shraddha rituals for their ancestors. A key ritual is Tarpan, where water mixed with black sesame seeds is offered. Many people make a mistake during Tarpan by not using the correct hand posture. According to scriptures, water should be offered from the 'Pitri Teerth', the area between the thumb and index finger, after wearing a Kusha.

पितृ पक्ष शुरू हो गया है और समाप्त भी हो गया। इस दौरान लोग अपने पूर्वजों के लिए श्राद्ध कर्म करते हैं। एक खास रस्म है तर्पण, जिसमें काले तिल मिले जल को अर्पित किया जाता है। कई लोग तर्पण करते समय हाथ की गलत मुद्रा के कारण गलती कर बैठते हैं। शास्त्रों के अनुसार, कुश पहनकर अंगूठे और तर्जनी उंगली के बीच की जगह, जिसे 'पित्र तीर्थ' कहते हैं, से जल चढ़ाना चाहिए।
